Privacy (English)
This page explains what data Heralia keeps, why, for how long and how you can download or delete it. Updated 28 October 2026.
- Controller: Deep Flow Studios, S.L. (CIF B23819709), C/ Santa Teresa, s/n — 46920 Mislata (Valencia, Spain). Contact: team@deepflow.es. Registry details in the legal notice.
- Without an account you can only play the tutorial. The Heralia World, with its first map, the Siege of Heralia, and Full Survivor need an account. Inside CrazyGames, without signing in you can also play the Siege as a guest. While you play it, the game sends the server what you do in the run so it can check it, like any run with the judge. If you win it, the server keeps what you earned (the map, the gold and the cards) with a receipt, a random number that only your browser has (the server keeps its fingerprint, not the receipt). If you sign in with your CrazyGames account within 7 days, it is recorded on your account only once and the receipt is deleted. Otherwise it is deleted on its own. While your account exists, the server remembers that it already claimed a guest victory, so it doesn't record another. If your run enters the ranking, the name you type, your hero, your skills and cards, your time and the day of the run (and, in the survival rankings, how many bosses you killed and the damage per second your run ended with, while how many creatures you killed is kept but not published) are published; for the Race, the server also keeps a random id of your browser, your name, your score and each race result. Your browser keeps your name, settings, the last game note you read, whether you closed the notice to install the game as an app, the receipt of your guest victory and Race score on your own device (not cookies, and the receipt only leaves it when you sign in). To keep the ranking and your progress fair, while you play Full Survivor or a Heralia world map with your account the game sends the server what you do in the run every second (where you move, what you choose and how far each frame goes), and the server plays your same run at the same time to check it and records what you win itself (your score, or on a map, the stage, the cards and the gold). When the run ends, the game uploads that same record and, if it is your best score, it is kept with it as its replay: anyone can watch that whole run, from start to finish, from the ranking, with your name, hero, talents and cards (those saved before 3 November 2026 only show their last 20 seconds). It is public, like the score. Only the replay of your best score is kept: when you beat it, the old one is deleted within an hour.
- To watch for cheating and bugs, that same record of each finished run is kept in full among the game's last 200 games, with your name, hero, talents and cards. It is not public: only the game's administrators see it. When any other game ends, the oldest one is deleted, so it usually lasts a few days. Yours show up when you download your data and are deleted if you delete your account.
- While you play with your account in a run that the server checks, the game's administrators see who is playing: your name, the mode, your hero, the map and whether you play from CrazyGames. It is deleted when the run ends. We also record which days you have played (only the day, not the time), to know how many players come back. Days before 30 October 2026 were worked out from what we already had (when you created your account, signed in, completed a map or set a record). They are kept for one year, show up when you download your data and are deleted if you delete your account.
- If the server cannot confirm one of your runs (for example, the connection drops and a map you won is not counted), that case is kept to find the fault and give you back what you won: what the server saw, how your browser's connection to it was doing (its failures, at what time, the type of browser and whether it is a phone) and the recording of that run, with your name and hero. It is not public: only the game's administrators see it. It is deleted after 14 days, shows up when you download your data and is deleted if you delete your account.
- With an account (only for people aged 14 or over, or 13 or over inside CrazyGames. Without one, anyone can play the tutorial) we keep how you sign in (your public Phantom wallet address, your email or, with Google, the identifier Google gives your account and your verified email), the name you choose, the last game note you read (so they do not show as unread on another device) and your progress (completed stages and level, each hero's talents and starting cards, tomes, card collection and gold), plus a 30-day session of which we only store a fingerprint. Signing with Phantom only proves the wallet is yours: we never get your keys and no token moves. If you link your Phantom to your email account (to turn your heroes into NFTs), we keep both and, for the next 72 hours, also your previous wallet and a fingerprint of the «It wasn't me» link we email you to undo it.
- Inside CrazyGames you sign in with your CrazyGames account: we receive the identifier CrazyGames gives your account and your username there, which is your name in the game (you change it at CrazyGames, not here, and it goes through the name filter like any other). We never get your CrazyGames email or password. CrazyGames players have their own ranking, with no prizes. If the game is no longer on CrazyGames and you want to download or delete your data, write to team@deepflow.es with your CrazyGames username.
- Card market: if you sell or buy there, we keep which card you put up for sale, its price in gold, when and, if it sells, which account bought it and when. The buyer never sees who sold it, nor the other way round. We keep it to make the sale, to give it to you when you download your data and to check for cheating between accounts. A card stays on sale until someone buys it or you take it back. Closed sales are kept for 30 days. Withdrawing one deletes it at once. Deleting your account deletes your sales, and the cards you bought no longer show who bought them.
- Your bag: what your account has received, so you can check it in the bag next to your gold. What you win in each game (gold, cards and tomes), the cards you buy and sell in the market (without the other account), the daily challenge prizes and the heroes you buy or that hatch from a breeding, each with its date and whether you have seen it. It is kept for 90 days, comes with your data download and is deleted if you delete your account.
- Last-boss ranking: if you slay the boss of the last map of the Heralia world, you appear in its public ranking with your account name (or «Anonymous» if you have not set one), the highest difficulty you slew it on and the day and time you did it. From now on, the first victory at each difficulty verified by the judge also saves your hero, skills with their cards and, if uploaded, a public replay of that whole run, up to the boss's defeat. The equipment and replay stay linked to that first victory until you delete your account. The recording keeps the nickname you played with. Earlier victories keep their date and have no such data. To replay it, the recording includes the talents, initial cards, account level and tome level used in that game. We do not publish your email, wallet or the rest of your history. The name is the nickname you choose for your account and you can change it any time in your profile: if you do not want to be recognised, pick one unrelated to you and the ranking will show the new one. You can download the equipment and replay reference with your data. Deleting your account removes the ranking entry, equipment and replay. If you prefer not to appear, write to team@deepflow.es and you will show as «Anonymous».
- Purchases (heroes and hero breeding, only for people aged 18 or over, see the terms of sale): we keep what you bought, the amount, whether and when it was paid, the payment id in our payment desk and when you ticked the two boxes before paying (18 or older and the waiver of withdrawal), with the version of the terms you accepted, plus your heroes. Our payment desk (DeepFlow Pay, our own service on the same server) keeps your game account id, your email if you signed in with it, each payment and what Stripe reports about it (payer name, email and country). Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland, with Stripe, Inc. in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) collects the payment: on its page you enter your card, name, email, country and postcode, it calculates VAT and sends the invoice. Neither the game nor our server sees your card details. Basis: the purchase contract (art. 6.1.b) and the legal duty to invoice and keep invoices (art. 6.1.c). Purchases and invoices are kept as long as tax and commercial law requires (generally six years), even if you delete your account.
- Season prizes (see the prize rules): if you win, we use your account email to tell you and record which hero you choose. If the prize is worth over 300 €, we ask for your full name and tax ID for the tax prepayment and, if you are under 18, written permission from a parent or guardian. Basis: giving you the prize (art. 6.1.b) and our tax duties (art. 6.1.c). Kept as long as tax law requires (generally four years) and used for nothing else.
- Cheating: if we apply a measure for cheating (see fair play), we keep the measure, its reason and the runs that justify it while it lasts and one more year to handle an appeal.
- Why: to provide the account you ask for (art. 6.1.b GDPR); the rankings (including the last-boss ranking, which publishes part of your progress) and the visit count rely on our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f). No ads, no profiling, no selling, and the only automated decision is whether a name can be used (see Names).
- Who else: everything lives on our server, rented from netcup in Nuremberg (Germany, EU), which only hosts it. Sign-in codes are emailed from our Google (Gmail) account, acting as processor, as are the codes to confirm what can't be undone and the notice that a wallet was linked. Phantom signatures happen in your wallet. Signing in with Google happens at Google, under its own privacy policy, and its library only loads when you press «Continue with Google». Inside CrazyGames (Maxflow BV, Leuven, Belgium, EU), its page shows the game. The game tells CrazyGames when you start and stop playing and, if you are signed in to CrazyGames, its kit, which only loads there, tells us who you are. CrazyGames handles your CrazyGames account on its own, under its own privacy policy. New names are checked by Jev, from TypeSafe AI (United States), acting as processor.
- Daily challenge: each challenge run where you kill its bosses leaves your record for that day: the time, the day and the hero with its skills and cards. With it we keep what the server saw of that run as its public replay: anyone can watch from the ranking that whole run, until the third boss falls, with your name, hero, talents and cards. Only the one of your best record of each day is kept, and it goes with it. Its ranking is public (your account name, time and hero), and at 00:00 every account that cleared the challenge that day gets its gold, more for the top three: we note which place each account won, how much gold and on which map. We keep your records 30 days and the prizes given one year. Deleting your account deletes your records and their replays and leaves the prizes without a winner. The ranking is part of the game you choose to play (our legitimate interest in the challenge having a real leaderboard). The name is your account nickname, which you can change in your profile. - How long: your account (and your row in the last-boss ranking), until you delete it. Sessions, 30 days. Email codes are stored encrypted for one day (to count failed attempts) and only work for 10 minutes. A previous wallet and its undo link, 72 hours. Your bag, 90 days. Expired data is erased every hour.
- Your rights: in your profile → My account you can download your data and delete your account instantly (it also disappears from the server's daily backups within 28 days). For anything else write to team@deepflow.es. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). Accounts are for people aged 14 or over (13 or over inside CrazyGames); younger players can play the tutorial without one (and, inside CrazyGames, the trial Siege).
- Visit count: our own counter on our own server. Of each visit, the page, where you came from and your type of device. Inside the game it also notes when you start a run and when you win it (with the mode and the hero, and whether you play inside CrazyGames), how it ends if you don't win it (you fall, time runs out, you go back to the menu or you close the page) and after how many seconds, and when you create your account, without your name or anything from your account. With that same count the Heralia team sees how many people are playing right now, in which mode and with which hero, without knowing who they are, and who has entered the ranking today or in the last 7 or 30 days, under the name the ranking already publishes, and, per day, how many people arrive from each website (for example Google or TikTok) and how many of them do the tutorial, create their account and play, counted all together. Your account does not store where you came from. Only the game's admin accounts see it. Your IP address is never stored.
- Names: so that the ranking shows no offensive names (insults, hate, sexual content, violence against people or posing as the game team), every new name you type, with or without an account, is checked by an automatic classification tool, Jev, from TypeSafe AI in the United States, acting as processor (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f). It only receives the name. If it is not a normal name we ask you for another one, and if it was already in the ranking it shows as «Héroe» and a number; if it is unsure, the Heralia team checks it by hand. What it said about each name is kept, unlinked to any account, and erased 90 days after the name was last used. If you think it got yours wrong, write to team@deepflow.es. This is the only automated decision we make.
- Game errors and improving the game: to fix and balance the game (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f), when the game fails your browser sends us the error (message, where in the code, game version, mode, browser type and whether it is a phone), stored with the date and time it arrives and erased 90 days after it last appeared. It carries no name, account or IP address. A program that plays by itself also learns from the runs kept by the ranking (the won Time Trial runs and the Full Survivor runs: hero, skills, cards, time, kills and bosses), without your name.
- Slow runs: if a run is slow on your device (few frames per second or a stutter), a report is sent so we can find what slows it down: how fast it was going and what is normal in that run, how long the rules and the drawing of each frame take, how many monsters, frozen monsters, effects, shots and things on the ground there were, the mode, the map, the minute of the run, which of the four heroes yours looks like and its skills, the graphics engine, the game version, the browser type, whether it is a phone and whether the graphics card is integrated, dedicated or missing (never its model). At most three are sent per visit. It carries no name, account or IP address, but since it carries the hero and the minute of the run, together with the ranking it could be matched to a run. That is why we only keep the hour it arrives, not the minute, and erase it after 14 days. Only the Heralia team sees it, from the admin accounts.
